I make works on paper about memories of home and food. I'm curious about how our everyday habits and habitats make up our sense of who we are, and about what makes us wistful for times, places, or memories that aren’t our own. I draw inspiration from the imagery and objects that populate everyday life, from advertisements and food packaging to couch upholstery and cabinets, and am interested in the ways they overlap or differ across time and place. Often, my research comes from talking to friends or asking strangers to share memories about meals and home.
I live in Brooklyn, New York.
